First reported by Carey Murdock today, true freshman Levi Draper will miss the whole season with a shoulder injury. Draper suffered a torn labrum during practice and will have season-ending surgery on Tuesday. He is expected to make a full recovery by Spring of 2018.
Draper was a four-star prospect and one of OU’s biggest recruiters after he committed. He would vouge hard for OU and try to get all the top players to commit. Draper joins the list that features Alex Dalton, Nick Basquine, and Kennedy Brooks to be out for the season.
Although Draper was not expected to start, he is still very talented and you hate to see any injuries happen before the season. Hopefully he has a very smooth and quick recovery and can help the Sooners out in 2018.
